Are there any restrictions? Can I use your products if I am taking medication?

Does Santé Blends contain hemp or CBD?
Nope! Our blends are completely free of hemp, CBD, and THC.
We use science-backed botanicals like Kava, Ashwagandha, and L-Theanine — ingredients clinically shown to promote calm and relaxation, without any intoxicating effects.
I've heard mixed things on Kava. Can you tell me more?
Kava (plant name Piper methysticum) is a root native to the South Pacific that has been used for centuries in traditional ceremonies to promote relaxation, connection, and calm. Modern research supports its ability to help ease occasional stress and support a relaxed state without impairing mental clarity.
Since the early 2000s, regulatory authorities have highlighted rare cases of liver injury associated with certain kava products. These cases were often linked to non-traditional preparations (such as extracts using acetone or ethanol), non-root parts of the plant (leaves/stems), high doses, pre-existing liver conditions, or combining with alcohol or other hepatotoxic medications.
Recent reviews - including a comprehensive report by the World Health Organization in 2007 - reaffirm that when kava is prepared traditionally (from noble roots, water or CO₂ extraction, moderate doses) and consumed by healthy adults, the observed risk appears very low.
At Santé Blends, we use only noble-cultivar kava, extracted using a clean CO₂-based method, and we dose at 60 mg kavalactones per serving, significantly below many expert thresholds. We believe this aligns with the safest approach.
As with any supplement, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use — especially if you have liver, kidney, or immune concerns, take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or are under 18. Avoid combining with alcohol or driving after use. If you experience any unusual effects, discontinue use and consult your physician.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns on unopened items within 14 days of your purchase date for a full product refund. If you choose to return a product, you will be responsible for shipping costs as well as a return processing fee. We do not allow returns on opened items.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damaged products
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at info@santeblends.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
