Natural Stress Relief & Increased Vitality

Ashwagandha

One of the most popular adaptogenic herbs, Ashwagandha has been shown to help with stress resilience and vitality enhancement through its interaction with the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and neurotransmitter systems, including serotonin and dopamine. We use KSM-66 Ashwagandha®, which is the most clinically studied ashwagandha on the market. Sometimes referred to as the “Prince of Herbs” in Ayurveda, ashwagandha has a broad range of therapeutic effects including reducing stress & anxiety, improving cognitive function, and boosting muscle strength and endurance.

Reduces Anxiety & Elevates Mood

Kava

Kava is a plant native to the Pacific Islands. It has been used traditionally for centuries to promote relaxation and social bonding. Research indicates that kava may help ease feelings of anxiety, due to its presence of kavalactones which are thought to modulate GABA neurotransmitters thereby increasing feelings of relaxation and calmness. Some people report a sense of euphoria when taking Kava. We use a very high quality form of Kava - noble Kava and a CO2 extract - and a dosage that provides an optimal and enjoyable experience. For more information about the safety of Kava, please refer to our FAQ.

Increases Calm & Focus

L-Theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves, particularly green tea and loose-leaf tea. Scientific studies have shown that L-theanine promotes relaxation, reduces anxiety & improves mental clarity by increasing alpha brain wave activity and enhancing GABA, dopamine & serotonin levels.

  • GABA

Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a naturally occurring amino acid that works as a neurotransmitter in your brain. When GABA attaches to a protein in your brain known as a GABA receptor, it produces a calming effect which can help with feelings of anxiety, stress, and fear. While GABA supplements on their own are not normally effective, research has shown that when L-theanine is combined with GABA, there is an increase in GABA levels in the brain.

  • Damiana

Research suggests that damiana has mood-enhancing effects and stress reduction properties. It also has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac and energy booster.

  • Passion Flower

Studies have shown that Passion Flower increases GABA levels, thereby reducing anxiety and enhancing sleep quality.

  • Linden

Scientific studies support linden flower's efficacy in reducing inflammation, anxiety and promoting restful sleep, attributed to its rich content of flavonoids and volatile oils.

  • Magnolia Bark

Magnolia Bark, commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine, is particularly rich in two compounds that are believed to be responsible for its medicinal properties — magnolol and honokiol. Scientific studies have shown that these compounds have potent anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory and stress-relieving properties by increasing levels of GABA. Some studies suggest that it also may have weight management and anti-cancer fighting properties, however more research is needed.
